Interesting book on existentialism
By: Tiara Widiastuti

Existentialism never gets old and this book proves it. Paul wasn’t only a good writer and storyteller but a brave man as well. In the face of death, he chose to embrace it and deepened his understanding about life, death, and existence. This book gave me a glimpse of the process of a man’s search for the meaning of his life. Reading this book brought me to a better understanding of life in general and specifically my own..

book consists 4 chapter; prologue tells us about Paul and his wife relationship--they almost get divorced until Paul decide to keep Lucy tight beside him that HE needs her to accompany him. Part 1 is about Paul's thought when he was young. His journey to find happiness, passion, and neurosurgery. This chapter contain Paul narration about his patients case... (somehow i like this part) Part II is the hardest chapter in this book. His struggling and resilience hit me so hard, while the epilogue written by his wife (my favorite!).  This isn't just like common epilog. Lucy, Paul's wife subtitutes Paul's writing in the previous chapter. We saw him through Lucy eyes. Their love is amazing, loving someone endlessly and unconditionaly is something thay u can achive by mutual understanding in both parties.

Beautiful but Sad
By: Fransiska Lintang

I tried to put all of my fiction books and get the non-fiction one. So, I bought this.

I know this is going to be sad,  but I bought it anyway. And when it arrived, I read this in one sit. This is truly beautiful.

Yesterday, Paul was a doctor that treat the patients, but then He's the one that got the treatment.
