Between 3−4 stars rating, 18 December 2017happily ever after is pretty much a prequel for the selection. and it also tells the elite from different characters point of view. if you love the selection series (not only the trilogy) then you have to read this.

You'll get to read The Prince and The Guard novella, and also another epilogue after The One ends. Oh! And also, you'll get to read The Queen and The Favorite.
In case you didn't know, The Prince is a novella written through Maxon's POV while The Guard is written through Aspen's POV. I found myself really intrigued because I really wanted to know what was going on in those two guys' minds whenever they were with America.
As for The Queen, it's a novella about Maxon's mom during her time as one of the Selecteds in King Clarkson's Selection.
