Emma believes she lost her husband Jesse forever and is now engaged to Sam, but when Jesse comes back alive, she was forced to rethink about everything she holds dear. I could feel Emma's pain, confusion, and the love she feels for each man. My heart hurt for Emma, for Sam and for Jesse, and even though it was pretty obvious who she would end up choosing (NOT one I would have LOL), I still found myself completely torn the entire time. Definitely a book that I will never forget.
