This is a great read if you're worried that automation is going to replace your job. Tyler Cowen goves a great framework in thinking over whether a given job is likely to be replaced by robot or not. In summation, not all jobs are created equal. Some jobs will require us to work collaboratively with robots(think of smartphone user instead of phone operator)
Cowen then lays out a path forward for us, arguing for a universal basic income for all of us if we are to expect that all manufacturing jobs are to be replaced.
This book is truly the example of the maxim, "The future is here;it is just not evenly distributed".
