Quite an exciting start to a series. This book is very compelling, right after finishing this book I was determined to pick up the next one.

As a debut book of Leigh Bardugo, this one is not as good as Six of Crows. But, it's still good! I don't love Bardugo for nothing. This one is really worth!
Despite the flaws this book has, I really love this book. A good start to know Bardugo's fantasy world before you read Six of Crows and King of Scars. Definitely worth it.
Actually 3.5, oh geez Leigh Bardugo is undeniable one of my favorite author especially for fantasy! Yeh you know i am not fantasy reader that much! But after reading my first ever of her book the language of thorns well i had to admit it impressed me ! Directly into the sequel right away! Will see if i love it even more!
Leigh Bardugo crafted this book brilliantly. I really like this debut book, and it is indeed recommended!
