This is the first book by Colleen Hoover that I read. I bought it for my college assignment, but while reading this book, her story got me. 

I really like how Colleen Hoover played with my heart, how she created the relationship between the characters and how she put that twist at the end. It's a light read, but I had mixed emotions reading this book

Prepare to get your heart slammed in all ways possible!

Colleen Hoover is a genius! this book rocks. the thing about this book is that the story line might be kind of cliche; about a girl falling for her teacher while dealing with the recent death of her father, but Colleen wrote it down with so much detail, filling up the spaces with sweet interactions between the two love birds which made me die over and over again.

What I also love about this book is that it is realistic. What the main character, Layken dealt with was something we all must face someday soon; Loosing the people our heart holds most dear to. 

So I fell head over heels for this book and really recommend it to anyone with who finds joy in romance books :)
