The Kite Runner is always on my Read Again list.
By: A. Budi

What can we say to the book that started our love interest with Khaleed Hoseinni’s literary carreer?

This haunting coming of age story is as much about the story of two diverging life path and circumstances as it is about an immigrant’s guilt of leaving and abandoning his war-torn motherland.

The author, having been born in Afghanistan, paints a very vivid picture of life in Afghanistan before and after the war over there, the war-torn cities, and the effects on the lives of the citizens.

I would recommend this book to everyone - it was a real eye-opener.
