All the glowing stars. I laughed so hard. I almost cried at some point. Reading this made me feel warm inside. I have a weird relationship with this series. I read the first book when I was in 8th grade, which is more than five years ago. I was interested, so I picked up and read all the other four books.... See More I also proceeded to the the next series that is Hereos of Olympus. I liked it very much, but I lost interest in House of Hades. But I powered through book 4, because it was just one more book before the series end, so why not complete it? Besides, I am a Percy and Percabeth trash. So, you know. I bought Blood of Olympus and it has been on my shelf for many months now. I haven't picked it up. Probably because I've been waiting too much to do so that my interest has slowly faded away. And also, I have very vague memories about all the other percy jackson books I had read. I figured I would not enjoy this as much as I could due to my limited recollections, which is a shame because I really loved this series. And of course my baby Percy and Percabeth. But I almost gave up on Blood of Olympus until I heard about Trials of Apolo and how it has been receiving incredible reviews. I want to read it too. I wanna come back. But, I made myself reread the entire series including the first one. I am soooo glad I did. It just brought back all the feels about the series. It almost felt like I was reading them for the first time again because like I said I had terrible, short-term memories. I literally read The Last Olympians in two sittings. Couldn't put it down. Action after action with the persassy that I always love. I think this book in particular has restored my love for the series. And I'm now more excited to dive back into Heroes of Olympus and meet my babies there. SO. GOOD. But I think you already know that.
