The story was okay, it's realistic in frustrating way. 1 just can't stand her writing. 1s her other book like this too?

A love story of young people. But I don't consider this book as a romance novel. It's more than that. The plot, the characters, they more mature than just ordinary romance novel. I can see why this book is so popular.

My first ever Sally Rooney book. The writing was very intimate yet enjoyable, I cannot put this book down.

I know this story had mixed reviews, and I'm on the liking side. Connell and Marianne interacting are interesting and so awkward but I love it. It's a fast-paced story and how it was written was also interesting (no dialog). Though there is some part that not for everyone and it was a trigger for mental health. Overall, I still like it and I purchased this because I watched the tv series first, it was really good.

I want to point out what I don't like in this book. The author didn't use proper punctuations for dialogue scene, and it confused me more than once. It was distinguishable who's talking in the scene. 

But overall, this is one good novel. I know the storyline might be not very different from other romance novel but the way the author delivers it and the way she shaped the charaters... it just so heart-warming. I love it. Definitely deserve the awards.
