Description

The New York Times bestselling WORLDWIDE phenomenon

Winner of the Goodreads Choice Award for Fiction A Good Morning America Book Club Pick Independent (London) Ten Best Books of the Year

A feel-good book guaranteed to lift your spirits.--The Washington Post

The dazzling reader-favorite about the choices that go into a life well lived, from the acclaimed author of How To Stop Time and The Comfort Book.

Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better?

In The Midnight Library, Matt Haig's enchanting blockbuster novel, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision. Faced with the possibility of changing her life for a new one, following a different career, undoing old breakups, realizing her dreams of becoming a glaciologist; she must search within herself as she travels through the Midnight Library to decide what is truly fulfilling in life, and what makes it worth living in the first place.

Live the live that is in front of us, say I'm alive
By: Brati A.

The sentences in the book really make us ponder abour our lives. That regrets are really about the lives that we wish we had, and certainly does not make us happy. What we need to focus is the life that is in front of us, to have zest to live, then the regrets will slowly disappear.

Philosophical
By: Nadia Karina

This book is both philosophical and magical at the same time. Midnight library is a library between life and death. Every book provides chances. I found it lack of ‘aha’ and ‘wow’ moments as I expected. Still magical tho

The Midnight library
By: Githa Putri

Okay this was an okay book. I jump into this book with no expectations, and it’s exactly that. It’s pretty hard to get into, there are some parts where it’s very triggering, so make sure you check the trigger warning first before you purchase this book. It’s basically a self help book, and the plot is not very exciting. I do recommend this book for someone who needs a motivation.

Can't wait to read!
By: Gina Prianto

I have heard so much about this book and the premise got me because it brings up the questions of "what if" that often pop up in my mind. I want to see how our protagonist lives through it and hopefully, it can help me, too. I really can't wait to read this!
