I enjoyed reading this book. It's not as good as famous fantasy story out there. But it feels fresh. We rarely find a fantasy story based on the culture of people of color, and this brought us another new perspective about fantasy world. Try to read it, it's not boring and join Zelie's adventure to bring back the magic

The story has potential, the main characters are great, but to be honest it didn't hook me as much as I would like it to be. But if you love YA fantasy, you probably would enjoy this a lot.

First, I love its cover. It really eye catchy. Then, I like the theme of the book. The book is based on Indian myth and this alone is enough to make me buy this book. I raerly read Indian based fantasy book. Plus, the reviews are great and many friends recommend me to read this one.

I don't really like this book actually. Well the plot is interesteng but I don't like the characters and their interaction.

But I am still looking for the next book. Just curious.

This book is living up the hype it brought. It's so good and worth your time and money!
